Luxury can’t be fun? Try us…

No Update Required

The Swiss Alp Final Upgrade has arrived

The final countdown to the final concept has begun… but in this case, the end is just the beginning. No software to expire, no ‘hardware’ to wear out – except the original hard-wearing mechanics of fine Swiss watchmaking that never goes out of style.

That’s right, the Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade is here, and it marks the last installment in our celebrated concept series which began all the way back in 2016. H. Moser & Cie. created this remarkable series with a signature touch of irony and a large helping of exquisite craftsmanship: an exploration of modern movements and style the Swiss Alp concept series has the appearance of a digital watch while concealing a 100% mechanical Haute Horlogerie heart. The Final Upgrade is a unique piece, ingadding the fascinating depths of Vantablack® to a touch of high-tech mystery.

Loading Life

If this year has taught us anything, it’s that connection is essential – but what are we connecting to? Now is the time to reconnect in the most important ways: to ourselves, to those we love, to the passions and projects we care about most. To express this concept in an elegant timepiece, H. Moser & Cie. has created a final edition in the Swiss Alp Watch collection: a very special model inspired by the smartwatch design, but without batteries, data, tracking, updates, tweets, monitors, alerts, distractions, or demands. For the self-starters, and the self-chargers. For those who want to measure time, not consume it. The only thing this watch uploads? Life.

Recharge your Batteries

With its 100% Swiss Manufacture movement and a minimum power reserve of 96 hours, The Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade is made to last. No charging required – so you can recharge yourself instead.
A rectangular case with soft, rounded corners is topped by a crystal with curved edges in a nod to smartwatch design, in a postmodern blending of genres that’s perfectly on-trend. This exceptional model combines a stunning Vantablack® dial without logo or indices; the blackest material on earth, Vantablack® is simultaneously mysteriously elegant, and fiercely contemporary.
Blackened hour and minute hands add a further touch of glamour and simulate the standby screen of any classic connected watch. With an offset small seconds at 6 o’clock, we’ve created a witty evocation of the loading symbol in a shaded disc, which serves as a perfect reminder that this moment is all that matters.
An ode to understatement, this ultra-contemporary yet timeless watch creates a striking contrast between aesthetic simplicity and complex materials; a steel case with black DLC coating completes the power of the Vantablack dial.

This is the last of the Swiss Alp Watches! Encouraging you to count minutes and hours spent with family, spent dreaming, spent pursuing your passions or absorbing a symphony… load life, not updates.
