Dress Code: Black and White

Opposites attract in our new Venturer Concept Vantablack® Diamonds. As the saying goes, there’s no light without the dark – and when 313 brilliant diamonds encounter a dial that’s blacker than any on Earth, we’re inclined to agree. Meet the seductive, sparkling beauty that’s earning a name on every circuit – from the Ritz to the Riviera.

Criminally Elegant: The Venturer Concept Vantablack® Diamonds has arrived – and not since Truman Capote’s infamous Black and White Ball of 1966 have the forces of dark and light joined together with such dazzling glamour. It’s said that Capote spent nearly three months on the guest list alone. Over 50 years later, the resulting splendour is still described as ‘the pinnacle of New York’s social history’. To create this latest addition to the Venturer family, we’ve done some meticulous planning of our own. And the result… well, we’ll let it speak for itself.

Opposites Attract: Perfectly suited to adorn an Italian dinner jacket, white-tie, or even a floor-sweeping onyx gown, this versatile beauty is encircled by a white-gold case, inlaid with 313 glimmering diamonds. A minimalist Vantablack Concept dial, stripped of all logos and indices, draws every discerning eye into its seemingly impossible depths.  Originally designed for use in astrophysics and military camouflage, Vantablack is an utterly unique substance regarded as the ‘blackest black on earth’; at H. Moser & Cie, it lends a mysterious glamour to some of our most dashing dials. While this deep-space dial absorbs particles of light with military precision, the pristine surrounding diamonds reflect, refract, and return every beam – for a lesson in Physics that’s sure to leave you enlightened.

Beauty and Brains: This sensual, curvaceous model is topped with a domed crystal – reminiscent of the pocket watches and convex forms of the 60’s, to make even Capote proud – while its elegant lines evoke a Bauhaus simplicity. Bold yet refined, the cutting edge beauty of the Venturer Concept Vantablack Diamonds wouldn’t be out of place on any red carpet.  But beauty is ephemeral without brains. Luckily, this model boasts both style and substance, with an HMC 327 hand-wound Manufacture calibre purring beneath the surface, visible through a case-back in transparent sapphire. And as any man-about-town will be pleased to learn, a generous 3-day power reserve keeps you dancing ‘til dawn (and beyond) with all the bright young things. The impeccable finishing touch? A chic, hand-stitched black alligator strap.
